In this age discrimination collective action, five former employees claimed that Phillips Beverage Corporation targeted people over the age of 40 for unfavorable treatment and ultimately termination, and then replaced them with younger employees. The plaintiffs successfully established an opt-in age discrimination class. The case settled on an individual basis.
